Greetings! or in Samburu...Sopa!

My dear Samburu friends. The man with the cowboy hat is Jama and I am the one wearing the other hat!  Haha!  His brother Lateet is between us and the man to my right is his friend.

The Lord loves His sons and daughters, whatever their zip code!

A few years ago I met Jama, a Samburu, on a trip to Kenya.  He said that no one would take the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom to his people, in the desert.

Immediately the Lord spoke to me and said that He has sons and daughters in the desert but who will tell them?

That was the beginning of what is turning into a very exciting journey with my Samburu friends.  We went to the desert a year later.

We traveled on motorcycles, carrying our gas, water and supplies.  A third person joined us, Isaiah, also a Samburu who has been ministering in the desert with Jama for years.  What came from this trip was the obvious need to train other young Samburu men & women to be able to disciple these new sons and daughters in the desert.

A chief in Sora Adoru was so impressed with our mission that he and the elders gave us 5 acres to build a Discipleship Training Center.  We built it just this last summer in 2016 and I am returning shortly to begin training those helping in the ministry.

Our new Discipleship Training Center!  We are also believing for funds to start a school for the local children this year 2017.  Become part of the story!

We need more people to join us in our mission to take the Gospel of Kingdom of God to the Samburu people, even those in the desert.  Become a part of the story by clicking the button below!
